A Night at the Oscars
Grant Thornton Johannesburg rolled out the red carpet to welcome their new accounting trainees at an Oscar-themed gala evening on Tuesday, 27 March 2007 held at Glenburn Lodge.
Grant Thornton Johannesburg partners and trainees arrived dressed to the nines as their favourite movie star or screen character.
This was the perfect end to a gruelling week of induction activities for the new recuits. After office orientation, they joined the rest of the trainees for a few days’ residential training at Glenburn Lodge. The training included audit software training, cultural diversity training, business communication skills and professional ethics. The trainees also took part in various teambuilding activities which included amateur film making.
These videos were screened at the gala dinner where best actor and actress Oscars were awarded. The best dressed male, female and group were also acknowledged and a good time was had by all.
